What this page covers

WellRegard lets a business connect its own Facebook Page and Instagram professional account so WellRegard can read comments left on that Page or account and help the business draft and post replies. This page explains how to request deletion of the data WellRegard has stored as a result of that connection.

Data WellRegard stores from Facebook and Instagram

For a connected Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, WellRegard stores:

• The connection itself: an encrypted access token and the account's own stable identifier
• For Facebook, the list of Pages the connected account manages, and an encrypted Page-level access token for each
• Comments synced from the connected Page or account: the comment text, the commenter's display name as shown by Meta, and Meta's own comment identifier
• Any reply WellRegard generates or the business approves and posts back to Facebook or Instagram

WellRegard does not use this data for anything other than helping the connected business read and respond to its own Page or account comments, and does not sell or share it with third parties.

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account to WellRegard

WellRegard does not currently offer a self-service action that removes a Facebook or Instagram connection and its stored data from Settings → Connections. To request full deletion of everything WellRegard has stored for your connected Facebook Page or Instagram account — the connection record, synced comments, and generated or posted replies — email privacy@wellregard.com from the email address associated with your WellRegard account and identify the Facebook Page or Instagram account involved. WellRegard will process the request and confirm by email once complete.

If you left a comment on a connected Page or account

If you commented on a Facebook Page or Instagram account that uses WellRegard, and you did not connect that account to WellRegard yourself, you can still request deletion of the comment text and display name WellRegard stored from that comment. Email privacy@wellregard.com with a description or link to the comment and the Page or account it was posted on. WellRegard does not maintain a WellRegard account or login for individual commenters, so this is the only way to reach WellRegard directly about a specific comment.

This does not delete or affect the comment on Facebook or Instagram itself — that is controlled by Meta and by the Page or account it was posted on, not by WellRegard.
